I became an artist after suffering a stroke and attending Art Therapy with Art Lift

My first exhibition was of portraits of people who attended Art Therapy with me.

It was called “we’re All Mad Here."

I have had several solo exhibitions since, the biggest being my Arts Council funded exhibition 'Faith' exhibition. A study into different faiths and belief systems. I wanted to see what faith means to the people around me and to see if we are all different or more similar than we think. My exploration of individual faith is from my own atheist point of view.

I am now working on my latest exhibition 'tales from a city'

I have exhibited work across the UK including The House of Lords,Gloucester Cathedral, The Tower of London, Cambridge University and All Hallows by the Tower, London.

I have sold portraits as far afield as France, America and Australia.
